About Me
My name is Amanda Dietz from Lake Villa, Illinois.  I play soccer with 17U Eclipse Select ECNL Regional Soccer Club out of Naperville, Illinois.  I play attacking center midfield, outside midfield, forward and striker. Playing in the attacking midfield position and being a playmaker on the field has raised my confidence as individual.
 
At Lakes Community High School, I was a Sophomore varsity starter.  The sport of soccer has helped and continues to help me grow as an individual and build personal discipline and playing with 10 other girls working with me on the field has helped me develop better teamwork skills.  Playing soccer has helped me develop friendships on and off the field which has made me a better player for having those special connections with my teammates.   
 
Soccer has given me physical and mental strength to not give up if a play or the game does not go your way. I bring a strong work ethic to help my team succeed and positive winning attitude to my team which allows the team to work hard and play hard.  I always count on my teammates to push me to be my best and they know I will do the same for them.  I want to be known as a positive role model on and off of the field.

Interests
I really enjoy painting and art.  I am always being asked to paint or design something for other people at school.  I have been taking communication classes and advanced sports training classes in high school.  In the soccer off season, I am a starting guard on the Lakes Community High School varsity basketball team.  I keep active with many school activities and events and also enjoy hanging out with my friends.
 
Future Plans
When I attend college, I am hoping to study physical therapy or in an area involving animals or animal studies. I am also hoping I can go to a college where I can play soccer.
